💡 Important to know first
The Lalamove account is yours, not Kedaipal's. You pay Lalamove directly from your own prepaid wallet. Kedaipal only does the booking for you — Kedaipal never touches your delivery money.

Create your Lalamove Business account
A Business account gives you a business wallet and access to Lalamove's API (that's what lets Kedaipal book riders for you). It's free to sign up. If you already use Lalamove for your shop, you may only need to upgrade your profile to a business one.

Go to the Lalamove Malaysia business page
On your phone or laptop, open lalamove.com/en-my/business. Tap the Sign up / Get started button for a business account.
Already have the Lalamove app? You can also go to your Profile in the app and look for the option to set up a business profile.

Fill in your business details
Lalamove will ask about you and your business — things like your business name, your phone number, your email, and roughly how many deliveries you do. Fill it in honestly; there is no minimum size to qualify.

Wait for Lalamove to contact you
After you submit the form, Lalamove will email you and usually follows up with a phone call to activate your business account. This is normal — nothing to screenshot here, just watch your inbox (and answer the call). Tell them you plan to use the API integration — that helps them set you up with Partner Portal access (Step B).
💡 Tip
When Lalamove contacts you, mention: "I want to connect my online store to Lalamove using the API. I need access to the Partner Portal." Saying this early saves you a second phone call later.

Open the Partner Portal & find the Developers tab
The Partner Portal is Lalamove's website for business accounts. This is where your API keys live.

Log in to the Partner Portal
Go to partnerportal.lalamove.com and log in with your Lalamove business account.

Find the "Developers" tab
Inside the portal, look for the Developers tab in the menu. That page shows your API Key and API Secret.
There is also an environment switch near the top right of the page. Make sure it is set to Production (not Sandbox) — more on this in Step C.

⚠️ Can't log in, or no Developers tab?
Partner Portal access is not always switched on automatically. If you can't log in, or you don't see a Developers tab, email partner.support@lalamove.com (or use the LiveChat bubble at the bottom right of the Partner Portal page). Tell them your business account email and that you need API access via the Partner Portal.

Copy your API Key and API Secret
These two codes are like the username and password of your Lalamove wallet. Kedaipal needs both to book riders on your behalf.

Switch to Production
On the Developers page, use the environment switch (top right) and choose Production.
Production keys start with pk_prod_ and sk_prod_ — these are the real ones. ✅
Test keys start with pk_test_ and sk_test_ — these are for testing only and cannot book real riders. ❌
⚠️ Don't see production keys?
Lalamove only shows your production keys after you have topped up your production wallet. If the Production page looks empty, do Step D (top up) first, then come back here.

Copy both codes
Copy the API Key (pk_prod_…) and the API Secret (sk_prod_…). On a phone, press and hold the code to copy it. Paste them somewhere private for now — your phone's Notes app is fine temporarily.

Paste the keys straight into your Kedaipal dashboard yourself (Step E) — they're yours; nobody at Kedaipal ever needs to see them.
Delete the keys from your Notes app after Step E is done.
If you think the secret leaked, ask Lalamove support to reset it, then update Kedaipal.
🚫 DON'T
Never post the API Secret in group chats, Facebook, or anywhere public.
Don't send it to anyone claiming to be "Lalamove support" who contacts you first.
Don't print it or screenshot it into shared albums.
🔐 Why so careful?
Anyone who has your API Secret can book deliveries paid from your wallet. Treat it like your ATM PIN.

Top up your Lalamove wallet
Lalamove is prepaid. Every delivery Kedaipal books for you is paid from your Lalamove wallet — like a Touch 'n Go card for deliveries.
⚠️ The one rule to remember
If your wallet reaches RM0, rider bookings will fail until you top up. Buyers can still place orders — but no rider will come. Keep money in the wallet.

Open the Wallet

Choose an amount and pay
Pick an amount, then choose how to pay. In Malaysia, Lalamove accepts:
FPX online banking (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, etc.)
Credit / debit card
Touch 'n Go eWallet and Boost

💡 How much should I keep in it?
Keep at least one week's delivery budget in the wallet. Example: 20 deliveries a week × ~RM10 each = keep RM200+ topped up. Set a reminder to check every Monday.

Choose Lalamove in Kedaipal
In your Kedaipal dashboard, go to Settings → Fulfilment and under Delivery charge, choose Lalamove — rider, live price. The full setup (pickup address, vehicle, API keys) appears right there.

Pin your business address
Set your pickup address — this is where the rider comes to collect orders (your stall, kitchen, or shop). Start typing and pick the exact match from the Google suggestions so it gets pinned to your spot, not just the street. A wrong pin = a lost rider = a cold order.

Choose your vehicle type
Pick the vehicle Kedaipal should book. Motorcycle is the default — it's the cheapest and right for most food orders. Choose a car only if your orders are large or fragile (e.g. tall cakes).

Connect live tracking (webhook)
After saving, the Lalamove card shows a webhook link with a Copy button. Copy it, then in your Lalamove Partner Portal → Developers, paste it into the Webhook URL field and pick Version 3. This is what lets your buyers get the automatic "shipped" message with live rider tracking — don't skip it!

Frequently asked questions
Who pays for the deliveries?
You do — directly to Lalamove, from your own prepaid wallet. Kedaipal never touches your delivery money. Kedaipal just does the booking for you.
Do I have to book every rider myself?
Your choice. By default you tap Book delivery on each order (with a price check first). Or turn on "Auto-book rider when you mark an order Packed" in the same settings — then the moment you mark an order Packed, the rider is booked automatically at that day's price from your wallet, zero extra taps.
What happens if my wallet is empty?
Buyers can still place orders as usual. But when Kedaipal tries to book the rider, the booking fails until you top up. You'll see the failed booking in your dashboard — top up, then book again.
Can I still use the Lalamove app myself?
Yes. Same account, same wallet. You can book manual deliveries in the app any time — for example, for orders that come from outside Kedaipal.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
Cancelling is usually free before a rider is assigned. After a rider is matched or on the way, Lalamove may charge a cancellation fee, following Lalamove's own policy. The money side is between you and Lalamove.
Are my keys safe with Kedaipal?
Your keys are stored securely and used only to book and track your deliveries. If you ever want to disconnect, remove the keys from the Lalamove card in Settings — and you can ask Lalamove support to reset your secret too.
